Perast

Perast and its rich history

Over the centuries, Perast developed as an important maritime and fishing settlement in the Bay of Kotor. It experienced its greatest prosperity during the time of the Venetian Republic, when its recognizable Baroque palaces and landmarks were built. The most famous among them is the Church of St. Nicholas.
